For this Pimento BD Club, we are doing something completely different, but to me something that is incredibly important and personal.
Paddy Woods will be hosting Centrepoint, Pimento’s 2026 charity partner, to shine a light on the 118,000 young people across the UK who currently have nowhere safe to sleep.
Youth homelessness isn’t always visible. It’s sofa surfing, night buses and impossible choices that push young people out of education and work. Centrepoint breaks that cycle by providing accommodation, mental health support, education, training and pathways into employment. For young people who start working, their accommodation model even flexes, allowing them to contribute to rent while still receiving the support they need.
We know it is a tough market at the moment, but our industry is full of opportunity, especially for creative young talent. Many of the young people Centrepoint works with have the creative skills and ambition to thrive in our world, they just need access: to training, apprenticeships, networks and real chances to build a career.
This event is about exploring how we, as an industry, can open those doors to help young people move from crisis to independence and make a real difference to the output of your agency with an even broader diverse range of skills.
